MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® training programs provide professionals with structured, evidence-based tools to support accountability, decision-making, and long-term behavior change. Correctional Counseling, Inc. (CCI) delivers Moral Reconation Therapy- MRT® worldwide, offering both online and in-person training so professionals can build meaningful skills wherever they work.
With eleven specialized training programs, CCI equips professionals to serve diverse populations and treatment needs. These programs range from core MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® facilitator training to focused courses in Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Substance Use Disorders, Relationships, Mental Health, and Trauma-Focused care. To ensure fidelity, certified training is required to deliver certain MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® models and to access select workbooks. In addition, every training includes Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to support professional growth and credentialing requirements.

To begin, MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® training programs are designed to meet professionals where they are, whether they are new facilitators or experienced practitioners seeking advanced skills. In addition, training options are available online and in person to support accessibility and scheduling needs.
This foundational training prepares professionals to deliver MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy®, an evidence-based cognitive-behavioral program proven to strengthen decision-making, build self-awareness, and support lasting behavioral change. Participants gain both knowledge and hands-on experience with facilitation techniques while exploring MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® applications across diverse populations and service settings.
This fully Spanish-language training equips professionals to implement MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® effectively. All instruction, discussion, and materials are provided in Spanish. Participants develop the skills and confidence needed to facilitate MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® while maintaining program fidelity.
This certification course prepares facilitators to deliver MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® Domestic Violence programming that meets minimum state standards. The training addresses power and control dynamics, unhealthy role expectations, cycles of abuse, and socio-cultural factors. In addition, participants learn strategies that promote personal responsibility, stress management, and tools to interrupt violence.
This interactive trauma training supports MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® and MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® Domestic Violence facilitators seeking a deeper understanding of trauma and resilience. The course blends lecture, discussion, and skill-building activities to strengthen trauma-informed care practices.
This expanded trauma-focused training builds knowledge and facilitation skills for psychoeducational trauma groups. It supports work with diverse populations, including Veterans, men, and women, while emphasizing practical application in group settings.
This interactive training equips facilitators to lead Coping with Anger groups. Participants work through guided instruction, case vignettes, and video-based exercises. The course emphasizes CBT principles that support healthier anger management and improved emotional regulation.
This interactive course prepares professionals to facilitate Untangling Relationships programming. Participants learn to help individuals recognize codependency and develop healthier relationship patterns through lecture, role-play, and hands-on workbook activities across twelve structured chapters.
This comprehensive training provides a strong foundation for working with individuals impacted by substance and alcohol use disorders. Participants explore definitions, root causes, prevalence, and the impact of substance use on brain and health. In addition, the course reviews evidence-based approaches, including CBT and MAT, and introduces CCI’s four SUD models of practice through case vignettes and applied exercises.
This accelerated training equips certified MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® facilitators to deliver Finding Your Way Home, a brief and structured MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® program designed for lower-risk and short-term populations. Participants gain practical strategies to guide individuals through the curriculum while maintaining fidelity to the MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® model.
The Basic MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® Review Training is a one-day refresher course for certified MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® facilitators. It focuses on sharpening core facilitation skills, reinforcing foundational concepts, and ensuring continued fidelity to the MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® model.
The Advanced MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® Training is a two-day interactive course designed for certified facilitators seeking to expand their skills. Participants deepen their understanding of advanced group dynamics and strengthen their ability to apply MRT—Moral Reconation Therapy® across diverse populations and complex settings.
