Moral Reconation Therapy-MRT® Domestic Violence (DV) Training

Certification course to deliver Moral Reconation Therapy-MRT® Domestic Violence, an evidence-based program meeting state standards for domestic violence treatment.

This training prepares professionals to deliver Bringing Peace to Relationships, a cognitive behavioral, psychoeducational and an MRT based program.  Participants will gain both the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to facilitate Bringing Peace to Relationships.

Learning Objectives:

• To deliver the program with fidelity
• Practice facilitation skills
• Concepts and skills to understand and address power and control tactics, unhealthy role expectations, cycles of abuse, and socio-cultural factors
• To teach personal responsibility, stress management, and tools to interrupt violence.

• Length: 4-day, 32-hour certification training

• Monday (4/13/26) – Wednesday (4/15/26) | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT
• Thursday (4/16/26) | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT (on this day, training may end earlier)

• Format: Online, fully interactive (webcam & microphone required)

Audience: This training is open to all professionals—no clinical background required. Especially valuable for those collaborating with individuals who are perpetrators of IPV/DV, including professionals in: Mental health, Education, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, Veteran Services, and Community-based organizations.
