Domestic Violence (DV) Facilitator Training

Certification course to facilitate CCI’s Domestic Violence curriculum, an evidence-based program built on the principles of MRT–Moral Reconation Therapy® and designed to meet state standards for domestic violence treatment.

This training prepares professionals to facilitate Bringing Peace to Relationships, a cognitive-behavioral, psychoeducational program built on the evidence-based principles of MRT–Moral Reconation Therapy®. Participants will gain both the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to confidently implement the Domestic Violence curriculum.

Completion of this training certifies participants to facilitate CCI’s Domestic Violence curriculum. This training does not provide certification to facilitate MRT–Moral Reconation Therapy®.

Learning Objectives:

• Facilitate the Bringing Peace to Relationships curriculum with confidence and consistency.
• Practice effective group facilitation skills through interactive learning.
• Understand and address power and control tactics, unhealthy role expectations, cycles of abuse, and socio-cultural influences.
• Teach personal responsibility, stress management, and practical tools to interrupt violent behaviors.
• Apply the evidence-based principles of MRT–Moral Reconation Therapy® within the Domestic Violence curriculum.

• Length: 4-day, 32-hour certification training
• Dates/Time:
• Monday (8/24/26) – Wednesday (8/26/26) | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT
• Thursday (8/27/26) | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT (on this day, training may end earlier)

• Format: Online, fully interactive (webcam & microphone required)

Audience: This training is open to all professionals—no clinical background required. Especially valuable for those collaborating with individuals who are perpetrators of IPV/DV, including professionals in: Mental health, Education, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, Veteran Services, and Community-based organizations.

• 3.2 CEUs offered
• Bringing Peace to Relationships workbook and Facilitator Guide
• Crisis Intervention Strategies + audio & EBP materials
• Certificate of Completion (5–7 business days post-training)
• Registration & payment due by , August 17th, 2026, to ensure prompt delivery of training materials
• A CCI Training Agreement must be completed to receive certification.

Training Refund Policy:

• No refunds within 60 days of the training date.
• Rescheduling is available with assistance from CCI staff.
• Training fees may be credited toward materials purchases.
• $50 processing fee applies for cancellations made within 10 days of training.
• CCI reserves the right to cancel sessions if enrollment minimums are not met.
