Vice President of Clinical and Educational Strategies

Wendy Standifer has over 30 years of experience working in behavioral health, substance abuse, criminal justice, and child welfare systems. As the VP of Clinical & Educational Strategies, she develops and executes a comprehensive business strategy with targeted goals and objectives. She identifies new and cultivates existing partners, working with organizations to assure positive customer service, effective referral processes and presenting models of practice and services provided by CCI.  She is a speaker at national conferences and a national trainer for MRT, MRT-DV and MRT Trauma.

Prior to joining Correctional Counseling full time in 2024, Ms. Standifer provided therapeutic counseling, case management, clinical supervision, and executive leadership to clinical programs working with adults and children. Ms. Standifer is a developer of a data and creating an innovative driven culture where diversity, inclusion and trusted relationships with partners and funders are business priorities, resulting in operational efficiencies and the identification of new funding mechanisms and social enterprise opportunities. She has engaged in innovative strategic planning, managing behavioral health, co-occurring, military/veterans, and outpatient services that have resulted in improved clinical outcomes for adults and children across various clinical settings.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University and has certifications through the National Certified Counselors (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC).
